Our greatest treasures are the photographs that reflect our children's life stories. We took to heart who would capture our children as seniors. We wanted someone who would see who they are and then try to creatively reflect it through the lens of a camera. That is exactly what Carla did! Carla took my senior photos in 2016 and to this day I can remember how she made me feel while taking those photos. A simple review can’t tell you enough amazing things about Carla Lynn! My daughter picked her to do her senior pictures in high school in like the 8th grade! So many people had gotten them done by her and we were blown away. But my child is not your girly girl, by any means, and I was worried it would be “too much” for her. I made the phone call to ask questions. That was all it took. First, she answered the phone. Then, she talked to me forever about my daughter and I realized this could work. Then, we had the consult. I was BLOWN AWAY. She didn’t talk to me. She talked to her. She got to know her and picked up on things that only her closest friends and family know about her personality from spending a few minutes with her on the couch. She didn’t care that she wouldn’t be in dresses and heels. She didn’t care that her nails wouldn’t be done. She wanted to take pictures of her in the most natural sense and make it truly about her. My daughter literally just scheduled her college senior pictures with her today and I’m already excited about it! I wanted to take this opportunity to say a heartfelt "Thank You!" to Carla and her team. So many teenage girls struggle with their self-image. Even those girls who are deeply loved can still suffer with feelings of self-doubt when it comes to the pressure to be what our society and social media deems as "beautiful". Carla Lynn is the absolute best out there. She did my senior photos almost 14 years ago, and they are still some of my favorite pictures. They way she takes her time to get to know each of her clients is my favorite thing about her. She has also done other pictures for me over the last few years of our family, and I am always blown away with how good they turn out, even if my kids are acting crazy. Many years ago, my boys played youth baseball. Carla Lynn was the photographer and the actions shots she was able to catch of my boys was amazing. I then had Carla take family photos and the first time I saw them I cried. They were absolutely beautiful. She was able to pull out each of our personality in the photos and we actually had a blast at the photo shoot. Previously, my children were not big fans of getting their pictures taken, but Carla made it fun and we had great time. When my children graduated from HS, we need knew exactly who we wanted to take their photos. Carla blew me away with their senior photos.
