How it all began…
What started 13 years ago as a way to market and grow her senior portrait business, has evolved into something far greater than she initially imagined. The Street Team, now a cherished part of Carla Lynn Photography, has become a powerful community for high school girls—a space where they can form lasting friendships, build confidence, and celebrate their authentic selves.
Throughout the years, this program has grown far beyond just marketing. It's about mentorship, creating meaningful memories, and offering girls in their junior and senior years the chance to learn more about themselves while having fun with creative photoshoots. Through these experiences, these girls have not only gained a sense of confidence but have also built deep, lasting friendships that continue well beyond high school. Some even went on to become roommates in college and have remained lifelong friends. Many former Street Team members have worked alongside Carla, staying in close touch and contributing to the heart of the program.
As the Street Team grew in popularity, the demand became overwhelming. With over 100 applications each year, Carla found it impossible to take on everyone. After a two-year break to reset and reevaluate, she realized how much she missed the energy and impact these girls brought into her life. The relationships and experiences they shared reminded her of the true heart of this program: empowering young women.
Carla relaunched her program with her Class of 2026 and it has been an amazing year with girls from all different schools/counties; hobbies and interests. From Studio sessions of teaching the girls to “Step into their power “ and be “Louder than life” to creating vision boards with her business coach and designing custom trucker hats to hangouts, this time has been incredible for them.
Once again, she's excited to reconnect with this incredible community and continue building strong, confident women who will carry these relationships and memories with them for years to come.

Being able to be apart of Carla Lynn’s Street Team has been an incredible experience! I have truly loved every minute of it. Being able to push myself in shoots in ways that I wouldn’t have before, creating memories, making new friendships, and over all just brining such a positive light into my senior year has been so much fun! Going into senior year is stressful with all of the things that have to be done. Yet with that stress and responsibilities having Carla by my side has been a relief. Getting to break away from it all with all the creative shoots and fun get togethers really has helped! If I could tell any senior girl one thing it would be to involve yourself in Carla Lynn’s street team. You will make so many memories and have genuinely the absolute best time ever!
Being on Carla Lynn’s Street team is something I’ll never forget. Meeting new girls, loving yourself in ways you thought you couldn’t, and being with the queen, Carla herself. Carla is the most genuine, care-giving person I know. She makes you feel so special and is incredibly talented at what she does. Her passion for photography made her Street team shoots so fun and something you’ll rarely, if ever experience. She’s truly just a very special person and doing her street team has changed my life. Carla’s Street Team brought me the most special woman— Carla herself. What started as me complaining to her in the car on the way to shoots turned into me consistently going to Carla for advice. I ended up working with her & learning more about photography when I graduated. She became more than a photography mentor to me. Flash forward to 2023 where I honored Carla as one of the most influential women in my life at my Bridesmaids luncheon. In 2024, we celebrated together at my baby shower. I am forever grateful that I took the leap to apply for the 2019 Street Team because not only did I develop such a strong bond with an amazing woman, but now my sister and my daughter also have that woman to look up to.
Street Team is an experience like no other. Carla instantly made us all feel so welcome and found ways for us to mesh with new people. Through spending time with Carla and the girls, I grew in my confidence. During our photo shoots she taught us what poise meant and how to best show it. Carla pushed us out of our comfort zones and helped us to grow individually and as a group. Street Team ‘26 was truly the best!
I can most confidently say that one of the highlights of my senior year was being apart of such an empowering program like the Street Team. All of the factors that made my experience one-of-a-kind was the supportive and new faces that I met, the amount of love and creativity poured into every shoot or hangout, and of course the woman who brings it all together: Carla Lynn!! It was so fulfilling being around girls my age who uplifted and encouraged each other, while also getting to express myself through dressing up and modeling! While shooting with Carla, she is the ultimate hype woman and highlights your strengths. This sense of community and new sense of confidence within myself will never stray, as this ‘25-‘26 Street Team’s impact will never leave me!! I strongly recommend Carla Lynn, to be fiercely yourself, and to be apart of something as rewarding as the Street Team, to be involved around an authentic environment and people!! Couldn’t thank this opportunity enough!
